Hi all

Could you please help me update my Ergo race II bike firmware? Current firmware posted for SK displays (3579) is for the Cross Trainer and NOT for the bike? I'd appreciate if anyone let me know if you have any of the previous updates?

Yes still need the update. Currently I'm limited to 400 W because this is the ELIPTICAL firmware limit. I will try to apply the update and see if this works. Just to clarify this is for KETTLER ERGORACE II with SK display right?

I am not sure for which display this update is.
I recommend looking in the documentation, could be from earlier Ergorace , which i had a few years ago. But i don’t know anymore what kind of display my Ergorace had.

Otherwise i see that on this site there is an update for the SK display.

Hi,

the device type comes not from display firmware.

Since 2012 all KETTLER have an brake control board in the bottom.
The display communicates with this and gets from there the device type.

So you have the wrong brake control board in your Ergorace.

Prior to 2012, the device type was set either in the EEPROM of the display or through resistor contacts. Again, the firmware has no influence

My Ergorace II worked fine prior to installing recent update and no other changes were made to the device. What is the brake control that you are referring to?

The problem currently is that :
1. My bike is recognized as elliptical trainer (which comes also with SK display) so the max power is capped at 400W (Kettler Ergorace II had max power up to 800W)
2. I'm unable to join the online rides beacuse the device is not recognized as a bike

can you send me the ID values from settings window. Click on Clipboard to copy the list and paste it in here or look into the last column of the list.

I have one SK Display for testing and got differnt brake control boards for the different device types.

Did you reset your display to factory default?

Which settings do you have in mind? Would you like me to connect the bike to woldtours and go to settings? Yes I have tried resetting to factory defaults - no effect
