Control options

To be able to operate KETTLER WORLD TOURS from your training device, there are a few options:

  • Operation via the PC keyboard. The arrow keys correspond to the assignment that is displayed in the bottom right of the KWT screen.
    +/- can be used to change the camera perspective.
    Page Up/Down can be used to change the scale of the recording and the route profile.
    With F, KWT switches to full-screen mode or back.
    The C key starts the cooldown mode.
    On a demo device, this is started or stopped with the space bar.
  • Some KETTLER devices also allow control directly via the display. In this case, the display at the bottom right changes according to the existing display.
  • KWT also has touch control for tablets or by mouse by clicking or tapping on the occupancy display at the bottom right. An enlarged display will then appear for some time, which can be used.

KWTremote app for controlling KWT

KWTremote App

This app serves as an extension of the KETTLER WORLD TOURS software.

The app includes the operation of the 4 directional buttons of the control panel as well as the + and - buttons of the newer S-Line devices. The app can also display a menu for easier navigation. During training, the currently adjustable parameters can be changed directly and the scaling of the graphs and the camera can also be changed.

In the iOS and Android version, the app can also remotely control the new Race Chat of KETTLER WORLD TOURS from version 2.0.5.7. The chat will appear in the app. It is not necessary to open it in KWT.

The app establishes the connection to KETTLER WORLD TOURS via the local network. It is therefore necessary that the PC with KETTLER WORLD TOURS and the smartphone with the KWTremote app are connected to the same network.

KETTLER WORLD TOURS 2.0 is compatible with the KWTremote app from version 2.0.4.3 onwards.
KETTLER WORLD TOURS 3.0 is compatible from version 3.0.0.0.

Control via Media Button

A media button is paired with the PC via Bluetooth and then behaves like a wireless keyboard.
In the KWT settings under Program this can be activated and, if necessary, the assignment of the buttons can be specified:
